Sabarmati Ashram - Sabarmati Ashram (also known as Gandhi Ashram) is located in the Sabarmati suburb of Ahmedabad, Gujarat, adjoining the Ashram Road, on the banks of the River Sabarmati, 4 miles (6.4 km) from the town hall. This was one of the many residences of Mahatma Gandhi who lived at Sabarmati (Gujarat) and Sevagram (Wardha, Maharashtra) when he was not travelling across India or in prison. He lived in Sabarmati or Wardha for a total of twelve years with his wife Kasturba Gandhi and followers, including Vinoba Bhave. The Bhagavad Gita was recited here daily as part of the Ashram schedule.
Kankaria Lake - Kankaria Lake is the second largest lake in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India. It is located in the south-eastern part of the city, in the Maninagar area. It was completed in 1451 during the reign of Sultan Qutb-ud-Din Ahmad Shah II though its origin is placed in the Chaulukya period sometimes. A lake front is developed around it, which has many public attractions such as a zoo, toy train, kids city, tethered balloon ride, water rides, water park, food stalls, and entertainment facilities. The lakefront was revamped in 2007-2008. Kankaria Carnival is a week-long festival held here in the last week of December. Many cultural, art, and social activities are organised during the carnival.

Rukmini Devi Temple - A small structure is an important shrine dedicated to Krishna&39s beloved consort, Rukmani Devi. Not as majestically gigantic, this shrine is an architectural masterpiece in itself.

Somnath Jytorilinga Temple - A highly revered religious site for Hindus, the Somnath Temple is one of the 12 Jyotirlingas of India. Bhalka Tirth - Bhalka Tirth is a renowned Hindu pilgrim centre which is believed to be the location where Lord Krishna was shot by a hunter's arrow. According to the sacred scripts, Lord Krishna's death marks the end of the Dvapara Yug and the beginning of the Kali Yug. The tirth has a temple dedicated to Lord Krishna and is called Mahaprabhuji's Bethak.

Triveni Sangam Temple - The confluence of the three rivers Hiran, Kapila and Saraswati this is the point where the rivers meet the mighty Arabian Sea. Triveni Sangam is believed to be a very sacred Moksha Tirtha for Hindus.

Diu Fort - The Diu Fortress is a Portuguese-built fortification located on the west coast of India in Diu. The fortress was built as part of Portuguese India&39s defensive fortifications at the eastern tip of the island of Diu during the 16th century. The fortress, which borders on the town of Diu, was built in 1535 subsequent to a defense alliance forged by Bahadur Shah, theSultan of Gujarat and the Portuguese when Humayun, the Mughal Emperor attempted to annex this territory. It was strengthened over the years, till 1546. The Portuguese ruled over this territory from 1537 until the Indian invasion of December 1961. Today it is a landmark of Diu and one of the Seven Wonders of Portuguese Origin in the World.

Saint Paul's Church - The St. Paul's Church, is situated on Diu Island, on the west coast of India, a Union Territory of India. Diu came under the control of Portuguese colonists in early 16th century. The St. Paul's Church, named after St. Paul, the Apostle of Jesus also known as the Apostle to the Gentiles, and is still a functioning church and one of the three churches in Diu built by the Portuguese. It is considered one of the best examples of baroque architecture in India.
Naida Caves - Naida Caves are the most interesting rock formations in Diu. It is believed that these caves existed naturally earlier, but when the Portuguese took over.
